With a predictable can of Coke Zero in his hand, Dean Singer locked up his office and started to make his way up to the third floor, where his classroom was. The twenty six-year-old hummed under his breath to himself as he walked through the mostly empty halls. It was still a little early, but classes would be starting in about twenty minutes, so he was required to head to his room in case any students showed up early. Of course, they'd simply have to wait in the hallway if they did. Dean kept the door locked when he wasn't in there because in the closet in the back corner of the room was a lot of expensive instruments, some of them his own personal ones. The only time his classroom or office were locked was whenever the vocals and guitar teacher wasn't in them. He even kept his office door open whenever he was in it, anything else would go against the whole "open door" policy he had with the students. Taking a quick drink of his soda, Dean unlocked the classroom and went inside, flipping on the lights. Then, he set his drink on his desk and went to open the shades in the windows, letting the morning light filter in. It'd help warm up the room a little. Mr. Singer also opened the windows themselves, to let in some of the warmer air from outside. Of course, he wasn't sure how long that was going to last before his allergies made it so he needed them shut again. Singing and sneezing wasn't a really good combination.
Once that was done, Dean walked over to the desk again, grabbing his soda before plopping down on the rolling, spinning chair that he had situated behind the desk. With another drink out of the can, Dean started to look through the different papers he had scattered on top of the desk. The teacher wasn't really known for his organizational skills. Humming inaudibly under his breath all the while, Dean was trying to find the papers that he needed for his class. After a few moments, he started to sing, something he was known to do, just before the first bell rang. A slight smile tugged on the teacher's lips, and he took another drink of his Coke, glad that the students would be there soon. He wasn't all that fond of the quiet in the room, and that'd get rid of that. "Morning, guys," he stated to the first few students to filter in, smiling warmly while moving to sit down on the desk instead, facing the seating area for the students. tag;; Advanced Vocals Class word count;; 442 notes;; I will wait until at least three students have replied before posting again.
